How long will it take for my case to be processed?
Each case is different. The time it takes depends on a number of factors, most importantly the number of applications a visa post receives and the difficulty they have in confirming your information. Cases are processed in the order in which they are received. There is no possibility of speeding up one case, no matter what the circumstances. The average processing time is 18 - 24 months.               

Do we guarantee processing times?
Many factors affect processing times by making sure your case is complete with the right documentation and translations, and submitted to the right Visa Post or Immigration Service, we can help the process go as quickly as possible. These steps we take can help reduce or avoid delays, and this allows for faster process.  of Canada.

Who are included in my application?
If you are married, your spouse and all of your dependent children are included in the application. Your dependents must also pass background checks and medical examinations.

Must I or others in my family attend an interview?
A visa officer will review your application and decide if an interview is necessary. If so, you will be informed of the time and place. Your spouse and dependent children of over 18 years of age will be asked to attend the interview with you.

For how long is my immigrant visa valid?
Normally, immigrant visas are valid for 6-11 months from the date of issuance. The validity date is based upon the earlier of your or your dependents' passport validity date(s) or of the medical examinations validity date (medical examinations are valid for 12 months from the date they are performed).         IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT IMMIGRANT VISAS CANNOT BE EXTENDED ONCE ISSUED. IF APPLICANTS DO NOT USE THEM WITHIN THEIR VALIDITY THEY MUST REAPPLY FOR IMMIGRATION TO CANADA .

For how long is the medical examination valid?
The medical examination is valid for 12 months from the date of the first medical examination or test. If your visa is not issued within the validity of your medical examinations, you must take another complete examination

Do I need to provide evidence of assets even if apply as a Skilled Worker?
Skilled Workers (Independent) applicants will generally be required to prove that they have approx. CAD $ 10,000 plus  CAD $ 2,000 per accompanying dependent.

Do I need to pay separate Consulting Fees for my dependents?
CANIMCO Immigration Consulting fees include the Principal applicant and his dependents who are included in his application. Regarding Government Processing Fees and Right of Landing Fees a special fee structure applies for families and their dependents.
